  1. I'm going with a '73 full size Pontiac (except Safaris).
  2. GM dealer locator shows nothing on the 12563355 Valve assembly. 1997272 Solenoid Assembly shows on the locator at Modern Auto Co, Washington, MO 636-239-6777
  3. I am bringing Oldsmobile showroom transparencies from 1952, '53, '56, '61, '62, '63 and '69. These were meant to be put is a frame with a fluorescent light behind them.
  4. Negative, Rocketraider. Lynn's car was donated to the RE Olds museum. They have not sold it to the best of my knowledge. His was triple gold.
  5. '52 was the first year. I've had people tell me it was only available on 98s, but my dealer materials don't say that.
  6. Yes, the R E Olds museum would probably be glad to have it. And Bud would probably be happy it went there.
  7. The fan and defrost knobs, and the temp and air levers look very 1953/54 Plymouth/Dodge. 1954 Dodge has a similar panel but there is a third lever for vent, and the fan and defrost knobs are elsewhere on the dash. Also, the defrost knob on the '54 Dodge just says "DEF" and is an electrical blower switch rather than a cable drive like this one.
  8. What if you were to loosen the allen screws and remove the knobs? Might there be a number on the back of the knobs, or down in the rim of the housing that the knobs are hiding?
  9. I'm guessing this is late 40s to mid 50s because the wires for the blower resistor are attached by screws rather than a push on connector. Sure looks like it would fit a '55 Chevy, but their controls don't have those big knobs. Wish I could place it.
  10. According to the Oct. 28, 1920 edition of the Oxford Press, cement floors were laid in Frank Wilson's new auto garage building at Third and Broad streets. Frank Wilson dealt in Reo and Overland. Later he would deal in Studebaker.
  11. At one time the read Oxford Auto Parts. The building is located in Oxford, PA.
  12. This ^^^^^^^^^. And - don't pinch the harness when reinstalling the column clamp/bolts. It lets the smoke out. 😞
